This catalogue contains works by composers born before 1790. We have tried to compile a list of all titles currently availble. Some modern collections only containing works obtainable in other or better editions have been excluded. Titles which have been heavily edited are caracterized by the editor's or arranger's name in brackets; some good editions are indicated without brackets. Arrangements are labelled: "(arr.)". We have chosen the best editions if titles are available in more ways. The reader will find only original compositions for his or her instrument, or arrangements of before 1815. Transposed editions (indicated as such) present works which are not in print at the moment in the original keys. The prices of the orchestral string parts indicate the minimum set supplied by the publishers (often 2-2-1-1-1, or more).
