This catalogue contains works by composers born before ca. 1790, but we could not resist including a few later ones. We have tried to compile a list of all titles currently available, some modern collections have been excluded. Where an edition is out-dated we have indicated this by giving the editor's name in brackets; good editions are shown without brackets. Arrangements are labelled "(arr)". If there are several editions of a particular work we have selected one or more of the best.
